By accessing OilPrices.pk or petroprices.pk ("the Site"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. What the Site Provides
The Site republishes daily petrol, diesel, kerosene, and LPG price notifications issued by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) and the Ministry of Energy, Government of Pakistan, along with historical price archives, city-by-city rate comparisons, a fuel cost calculator, and a next-day price forecast model derived from OGRA's own published Import Parity Price formula.
3. No Official Affiliation & Data Accuracy
OilPrices.pk is an independent, privately operated information service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of OGRA, the Ministry of Energy, or the Government of Pakistan. Prices are transcribed from official OGRA PDF notifications shortly after publication and are intended to be accurate, but errors, delays, or parsing mistakes are possible. For any transaction, legal, or regulatory purpose, always verify current rates against the official notification at ogra.org.pk.
4. Forecasts Are Estimates, Not Guarantees
The "Expected Petrol Price" forecast and the homepage "Forecast Engine" project a likely next OGRA-notified rate using OGRA's published pricing formula applied to the most recent official Platts and State Bank of Pakistan exchange-rate data. Because the underlying international benchmarks change daily and the next print is not yet published at the time of estimation, these figures are estimates only and are explicitly not a guarantee of the actual future notified price. We are not liable for financial decisions made in reliance on these projections.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Scrape or bulk-extract the Site in a way that degrades service for other users;
- Misrepresent Site data as an official government notification;
- Attempt to interfere with, disable, or circumvent Site security;
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose.
6. Intellectual Property
Original content on the Site — including our forecast methodology, calculators, and written explainers — is owned by OilPrices.pk. Underlying government price notifications are public-interest data published by OGRA. You may cite or link to our pages with attribution; wholesale republishing of our original written content or calculator tools is not permitted without permission.
7. Third-Party Links & Advertising
The Site may display third-party advertising (via Google AdSense) and link to external sites (OGRA, the State Bank of Pakistan, S&P Global Platts, WhatsApp). We do not control and are not responsible for the content or practices of external sites.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, OilPrices.pk is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the Site or its data.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
